Your life is too hectic. Your to do list is long enough for four multi-tasking people and there’s no relief in sight. How do you get some peace and experience joy in the moment when you’re struggling to keep up with the constant demands of your life?
Like most people, any one area of my life could be considered a full-time job. I’m the President of a company that helps people archive memories and document personal legacies. I am also a wife and mother of two young daughters. In addition, I’m a civic-minded citizen, active school parent, and supportive friend. I enjoy all of those roles but I make a conscious effort to create space in my life and enjoy the journey. Years ago, it wasn’t until I realized how fleeting life is that I vowed to relish every minute of it.
The loss I’ve experienced in my life has made me acutely aware of the gift of each day. During my freshman year in college, my father was diagnosed with cancer. Proud and wanting me to graduate, my father and I would write back and forth to each other as I completed my studies. By sheer force of will, he boarded a plane to come see me graduate. It was one of the last things he did; one month later he died. What I didn’t realize as a naive 18 year old entering college for the first time was how incredibly fleeting life really is.
Realizing the preciousness of life so many years ago, I vowed to live life mindfully. I feel glad to be alive and every day try to do the following which has helped me along my journey. I hope these tips will help you too:
Top Three Tips for Living In The Moment
1. First say Thank You – My first thoughts and the first words out of my mouth in the morning are thank you. I Thank God for waking me up and for sending me on my way whole in mind, body and spirit. Thank whomever or whatever your source is; your own Deity, Mother Earth, the Universe or Nature. Expressing gratitude helps us live in the moment and opens the way for further blessings.
2. The Power of Breath and Silence – Silence is the best tool for immediately connecting us to our spirits. In the midst of turmoil, confusion or anger if we immediately become silent and breathe, a space is created for healing. It’s not always easy but if we try, we become soothed and can act from a place of love.
3. Notice the small things – Sometimes life can seem so pressing but when we live mindfully, it puts everything in perspective and priority. To notice the small things means we have to slow down, try to do one thing at a time, and stay present. When we do, it’s easier to feel grateful instead of overwhelmed and really live the blessing that’s today.
I have found these tips to be invaluable in leading me down a road to greater peace, tranquility and joy. I am still guilty of impatience, perfectionist tendencies and discomfort on the slope of any learning curve. But while I work on those things, I try to fully participate in my life mindfully. I enjoy the warmth of a shared sunset, holding the puffy center of my child’s small hand and diving into the deep well of my inner joy.
Your to do list won’t go away and the hectic pace of modern life won’t dissipate. It’s up to us to create space in each moment so we can notice the details that give our lives true meaning. The alternative is that life will joylessly pass us by. To create your own inner tranquility despite what’s going on around you, slow down, stay in the moment and vow to live in the present that is today.

INTRODUCTION:
Application & Network Performance Analysis is a team sport. Rarely are all the required skills in one skull. Perhaps it is best understood once you think in terms of functions and skill-sets within a Troubleshooting process. In order to be able to handle ANYTHING that comes along, you will need team members with high level skills in Enterprise Applications–Operating Systems–Databases–Server Issues and a detailed understanding of Protocols and Packet-Level transactions. But, to expect one or two people to have detailed knowledge of all these areas is unrealistic.
The Senior Network and Application Performance Analyst (NAPA)™ will need to be able to communicate with all these individuals, teams and managers. Communication & interviewing abilities are mandatory. If, even by some chance, you have the world’s best troubleshooter–what if they leave? This Team approach is practical and stable.
THE 7 PRIMARY TEAM ROLES:
Network & Application Performance Analyst (NAPA)™ – Team Manager & Technical Team Lead. This person needs to understand all the various technical issues and be able to discuss them and ask the right questions of the individual experts. They are the hub of the team’s wheel. The NAPA must learn all the Client’s goals – Technical – Political – Management – Budgetary and then is able to scale the team accordingly.
Enterprise Application Specialist (EAS) – Able to map Application flow from functional & transactional basis. Understands Database interactions – Multi-Tiered Architecture – Web Servers.
Protocol Analyst – Packet-Sniffer Guru. Understands Network Protocols – Topology Framing – Troubleshooting from the Packet Level. This individual will be capturing trace files and analyzing the traffic at the protocol and packet-level.
Network Engineer – Familiar with wide variety of vendors i.e. Cisco–Foundry– Nortel–Troubleshooting Layers 1-3. If this team member is part of an in-house team, they need only be up to date on the manufacture’s equipment in place within the organization. However, if your team is a consulting team…this individual has to have experience with a wide range of manufactures.
Operating Systems Specialist – UNIX & Windows, Other…
Project Manager – Maintains Task List – Gant Chart – Reports to Client’s Management
Technical Writer – Creates deliverable documentation showing work & resolutions provided by Network Application Performance Analysis Team. This person does not need to have a solid technical understanding but must be able to follow the gist of it when interviewing the technical team in order to “translate” the information into a document that is understandable to both a technical and NON-technical reader.
Network & Application performance Analysis troubleshooting doesn’t require separate people in each role – single individuals can perform multiple roles. The Senior NAPA may be able to perform all roles–at a high level. However, the Client’s Subject Matter Experts (SME) will still be required. Consider them a guest member of the team.
12) Theories are developed – Test Plan modified – second round of analysis testing (where needed).
Having a Champion within Client’s organization is critical. Organization’s staff members are not accountable to The NAPA Team – does not have to provide information or perform tasks. Will not do so when busy – but always busy! A Champion will help clear the path of internal escalation.

Ibunex Topical Ibuprofen is in a pump form and using it avoids the issues normally associated with oral pain relievers. Topical ibuprofen bypasses the digestive system thereby avoiding the loss of medicinal effect as the medicine travels through your digestive system. Ibunex Topical Ibuprofen is an advanced form of ibuprofen. Because it is topical, you simply apply the topical ibuprofen directly to the area you need and it starts working! Included in the ingredients of the Ibunex Topical Ibuprofen is Ibuprofen with Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulfate, MSM and Bromelain. The focus of Ibunex Topical Ibuprofen is to target the inflammatory process at the site of the injury. Topical ibuprofen can be applied before or after health care professional treatment as well as for everyday use at home. Purchase your Ibunex Topical Ibuprofen from ActiveForever today! What are the benefits of using Ibunex Topical Ibuprofen: Most popular analgesic gels (otherwise known as a painkiller) are simply strong menthol and/or camphor based counter-irritants. Gluconex Topical Glucosamine Consult your health professional if already taking pain relief medications. Gluconex Topical Glucosamine is a topical treatment for soft tissue and joint injuries. Gluconex Topical Glucosamine is in a pump form and using it avoids the issues normally associated with oral pain relievers. Gluconex Topical Glucosamine bypasses the digestive system thereby avoiding the metabolic processes associated with oral forms of pain relief required for transportation to the targeted pain site. In other words oral forms of pain relief have to process through your body and some of the medicinal effect is lost in that process and the effect of the drug takes longer to generate. Gluconex, as well as Ibunex is different. Because it is topical, you simply apply the treatment directly to the area you need and it starts working! The use of Gluconex Topical Glucosamine for the ease of joint discomfort is important. Each person produces a certain amount of glucosamine within their bodies. When people grow older, their bodies lose the capacity to make enough glucosamine, so the cartilage in their weight-bearing joints, such as the hips, knees, and hands is destroyed, then hardens and forms bone spurs, causing pain, deformed joints, and limited joint movement. Included in the ingredients of the Gluconex Topical Glucosamine is Glucosamine (10mg), Chondroitin (5mg), MSM (5mg), and Bromelain. The focus of Gluconex is to promote healthy long-term joint health. Gluconex can be applied before or after health care professional treatment as well as for everyday use at home. Purchase your Gluconex Topical Glucosamine from ActiveForever today!
