What can you use to get extra ear wax out?

I have this problem with ear wax and half the time i can’t hear out of my ears cuz there’s so much ear wax and my doctor told me to stop using q-tips. and it’s driving me nuts.

If it’s really bad, go to the doctor and have the nurse flush your ears out. You might also want to try a product called Murine EARigate – it has a reverse-spray nozzle which washes wax back out of the ear. For a few seconds after you might have a little trouble hearing though, but it goes away soon after and feels great!

Need help on instructions for ear cleaner?

I’m suppose to flush my dogs ears out with this solution from the Vet.

You can do it a few different ways. I usually squirt a bit of fluid down the ear canal and then use a Q-tip to clean out the entry to the canal. This can be dangerous if you accidentally stick the Q-tip too far down the canal, so if you aren’t sure, just give the vet a call at no charge.

Another way is to soak a cotton ball with the cleanser and put it in the canal and then close your dog’s ear and shake his head (like he would do after a bath). This method is safer, but I find it less effective than the first.
